Palladium's whole take on burst fire is kind of silly and bass ackwards, anyway. Weapons don't fire bursts or full automatic to do more damage, they fire bursts or full automatic to be more likely to hit the target.

How about TW Teleport Grenade Launchers? Aim at your target (usually a vehicle), pull the trigger, and instead of launching a grenade, it simply teleports it direct into the crew compartment of said vehicle, which then promptly detonates. :D

It's not the cross, it's actually the plus sign. Vampire Intelligences are universally bad at math, and hate being reminded that they flunked their college entrance exams because of this, thus the 'cross' wards them away. No, seriously! :D

I tend towards terms like "conventional" for SDC weapons, and "advanced" or "modern" for MDC gear. Of course, I can't think of a single instance in any game I've played where the characters bothered to differentiate between types. Mostly it was just "OMG SHOOT THAT THING!!!" *loud destruction noises*

Yup, survivable acceleration depends on the magnitude of the acceleration, and also the duration of acceleration. Humans can apparently survive over 80g accelerations, uninjured, provided the period is short enough.

I don't know how much heat a laser beam would actually shed. It's supposed to be coherent light, all focused in one direction, so why would heat leak out the sides of the beam into the barrel of the gun? A high-powered laser like the weapons in Rifts would be generating an awful lot of heat, really...
