Real Businesses that may survive to the time of the Rifts
With the possibility of a Rifts movie coming out can anyone think of any real life businesses that may last up to and including the time of the Rifts?
Just curious what yall think.

a call to arms....sort of
We need to bring back Ninjas and Superspies from oblivion. To do so we need to make the powers at be understand that we want our game back and bad. If we just do nothing Ninjas will languish in the background despite the fact that it is already a game that has been made and is viable. Remember the s...

Re: Rifts: Middle East Sourcebook
Palladium has said in the past they have no intention of touching this area. That said a board member here did a excellent netbook of the Middle East a few years back. I don't recall the whole story anymore, but he took it down due to the possibility of Palladium using it. Not sure what came of it ...

Rifts: Middle East Sourcebook
I find it hard to believe that with the part of the world that is the most...influential in the affairs of the world at large. the Middle East (I don't mean Egypt) doesn't have it's own source book. The Cradle of Human civilization is left out in the cold, and for what reason? I have know idea. I am...

Re: Negative Chi
Darkest Touch of the Dragon wasnt intended to be a player used power just something that wasn't in the book but still nasty. I know it is over the top. It is a part of my "game world" idea I have been kicking around for years. I just put that out there to what else anybody had come up with

How do you interpret Chi?
I like a lot of the references that exist. The Force from star wars is rather popular. But what is what your feeling of what Chi is?

Negative Chi
I thought of a Negative Chi power and advanced one that is. It would convert the Positive Chi in the target into pure Negative Chi. Their physical body would turn to dust and fly away in the wind. I call it Darkest Touch of the Dragon.

Social Contacts:House Rules?
Social Contacts do you have any rules you use if so what are they? Do you think they should be modified or stay as they are? What role playing bonuses do you have if players to X then they have a better chance to fine a Social Contact? Do you let players combine Social Contacts rolls for greater eff...

Would like a game that was tailored more to an international feel? If an Espionage expansion book came out what countries do you think their agencies should be ...

Doesn't matter who. I am just curious if it actually has been used. By a player or a GM. Tell me was it any good or did it go back to the bottom of your pile of useless martial arts?

Re: What do you think of a Merc source book for N&SS?
Why do we have to set things in the past there are plenty of headlines one can use from today that would work fine. Humint (Human gather Intelligence) is more important than ever and not just for corporate espionage. Internationally espionage is vital to today. Even Sun Tzu devoted an entire Chapter...

Re: What do you prefer in Ninjas and Superspies?
Personally I love Martial Arts and Espionage but every time I have played it has turned into a really bad "go after drug dealers" scenario after scenario. I try to run a heavy espionage and martial art based game. I don't do much with cyberware in the game myself

Anybody care to add to the Suggested reading or viewing list for Ninjas and Superspies? I would love to add to the Bourne series,Triple X the Vin Diesel movie, and Megaforce (an old 80's movie but good for the Mercenary O.C.C. lovers out there) for starters.

Re: Is Ninjas and Superspies a "dead" Rpg?
I personally love doing modern day stuff. It is so easy. just rip ideas from the news or just make stuff up in a real hot spot country not hard to do and it doesn't have to be from the usual areas either. You could even use the Atacama area of Chile. It still is by the Bolivian people considered par...

I love N&S myself but I have to wonder. With the creator now having passed to realms beyond, will Kev do anything with this game? I love it myself have for years. With my military experience it is a blast to play (when I can that is going full time to college isn't easy. But I would love to hear...

Re: N&S a bit dated?
Actually N&S may be dated in time frame but not in the skill program system. In fact skill programs should be expanded to include more areas other jobs and areas of knowledge. The skill program system is perfect for N&S. As some whom has come from a military background knows, intensive traini...
