I have some pretty feaking awesome players in the game that I am a part of. A great many of you put allot of forethought into your characters and I like that. I have had several folks marvel at the size of the game - the simple reality is that by letting you be you, in general, we all have more fun.

In robotech 1st edition they had list of encounters - roll for every six hours or what have you and the list was broke down by what your players might run into. Is there such a table for rifts some where's?

if lenoard was a part of the AUL, then why the frick did they bring him on as the leader of the ASC? he blew up a facility that would have been one of the major parts of earths defenses and cost millions of lives in the first robotech war. He should have been arrested and hung.

I don't care for high powered characters like mages, dragons, and demi gods. I actually don't care for the boom gun of a glitterboy either. I have had characters in apc's and samas. tech guys are what I enjoy playing the most. they are not great fighters....but the role play is fun.

Personally, I think it's bizarre that Strike is used in this case... but I can kind of see it. The goal of dodging is generally to be anywhere BUT one specific place, and the goal of striking (with body block or whatever) is to BE one specific place. This rule has never really come up when I've run...

Manpower may not have been as huge of an issue as you think. There are allot of possible sources for expanding the manpower available for the fleet. 1. There were allot more survivors of the ROD then just the 70,000 on the SDF-1. For example Leanord and others were in Antartica when the ROD happened...

I would think that the various zentraedi ships that survived the ROD would have been taken for several reasons....first of all because of their micro factories....which only they and the SDF-3 had..... their weaponry was also heavier. remember that several ship classes had the massive reflex cannons...

Even with only 50 ships, I can't see them being broken. The earth had zero functional ships outside of these and they were looking forward to many years before there would be a human fleet to replace these ships. Even then, they still had use because they were larger then nearly all human ships cons...
