Re: Conjurer OCC seems worthless
A conjurer could create all the parts to make a potato battery (2 leads of different metals, connecting wires, and a potato) to hook up to a light bulb they found. No, conjurors are not able to create plant life, find a new example. They could, however, conjure up a mouse and a running wheel and ma...

Re: Conjurer OCC seems worthless
Lets say there is a engine that uses perfectly flawless carbon cubes as a fuel source for say an antimater drive. Can you make the perfectly pure carbon cube if you have seen and touched them before? Or can you not because that would be summoning fuel? Can I summon a alien animal that is not superna...

Re: Conjurer OCC seems worthless

It says in the RUE rules on pg 131 under section 7 that the time it take to add a feature to a existing piece of technology is P.P.E Construction cost Multiplied by the device level halved if the techno wizard has the appropriate mechanical skills. This would mean adding a feature such as superhuma...

When you are rolling a skill do you add the bonuses capping the skill at 98% then take away the penalties or do you take the penalties then add the bonuses? How does this interact with Level and IQ bonuses?

Okay, here's the scenario: You're a Rifts main-book (not RUE) Vagabond, stuck on an island in a "The Most Dangerous Game" situation. You're being hunted by a group of three Blind Warrior Women with standard gear. You're unarmored, and armed only with a bolt-action rifle (30 loose rounds i...

Re: Lvl 15 Ley Line Walker vs. Glitter Boy
Seeing how the Glitter Boy has range, by about 2 miles, pretty much all of these plans need to be scrapped. Well the mage has tree cover up to 500ft of the glitterboy, so the whole 2 mile thing doesn't really apply. The targeting computer linked into radar is good out to 30 miles. The thermo imager...

I wanted to get others take on the CS vs Tolkeen and it's outcome. 1) Did you feel that the CS should have been the victor and why? Technically there is no limit to the amount of energy you can put into a laser as well. The main problem is you are shooting in an atmosphere and the materials will also be effected by the energy you are storing so they can only hold so much before they give way. But with a techno Wizard with the Im...

Re: How could players overthrow or take back Atlantis?
I guess some possibilities that don't involve the complexity of all out war against Atlantis by a large strike force are 1. The Asylum portal situation changes and the player characters are more then happy to make it worse for Splynn by launching a surprise attack against the Pyramid stabilizing it....

Re: How could players overthrow or take back Atlantis?
The main problem with Splynns hold over Atlantis is that he has no friends on rifts earth. If the TA, Vampires, Archie, CS, Lazlo, Myrlln, and the Naruni all want Splynn gone his vacation island is going to become way to expensive to maintain. Especially with Archie getting Mechanoid tech and Naruni...

So looking over the xiticix book, I noticed there melee weapons have a damage roll+ the users normal super natural damage roll. why is that? the book offers very little to describe it. Ok. I'm not sure what that would do. Moss is found all over the hives. What else is it supposed to reveal? Well the fungus that grows there is their food source that supposedly no one knows about. Getting that information in the right hands could lead to a way to kill it thus starving the xiticix.
