Electrokinesis is underrated. Being able to locate hidden listening devices/cameras, vibro-blades, pocket derringers, bionic/cybernetics, is handy for the paranoid/cautious player. This is why you don't use super powered characters. Players tend to get bored with them. RIFTS needs to be played with other central themes IMO.

I let any Human OCC non mage, who is not psychic (and with no more than 3 cyber implant) roll on the table. I love the savant option. Gives more expertise for a couple of skills for the player.

RIFTS Source book 3 is very underrated. Gene Splicers are nasty. Mindwerks and the Angle of Death have a great story.

Trimadore Safe-cracker was fun. Not only could he basically fix whatever he wanted with his racial mechanical aptitude, he had a specialty the group could use. (unique ways to blow stuff up)

DU round loaded rail guns mounted (or held) by any airborne character that can move faster than the dragon under an anti-magic cloud. Just get him to not teleport away and you win.
