Magic Armour prices
Hello!
Does anyone else feel the cost of magic armour is prohibitive or out of whack? 4k gold to up AR by one, but 30k gold for Leather of Iron? I know its my campaign & i can can change it if I want. Has anyone else adjusted the prices (up or down)?

Re: Old Kingdom weather...
Oh I get to play geography teacher on the forums again. So I am no expert but going strictly by the maps in the books and the height of the mountains as listed and using real world mountains as examples but the mountains around the Old Kingdom should have little effect on the weather of the region....

Warning: tangential fan-fic! Re: Old Kingdom River
Situated along the far western reaches of the Old Kingdom River, Gaal-lunt City was once a great Elven metropolis with an estimated populace of nearly 1 million inhabitants. It never fell to the Dwarves during the Great War, but its populace was depleted by the war effort. After the war ended, Gaal-...

Re: Old Kingdom River
I'm writing up a piece on the river now; I decided that the section of the OK in the 'curve of the mountains' was about 1500 ft higher than the "lowlands" to the north & east. After i'd done that, I was pointed to the Great Waterfall mentioned in a Rifter and I feel justified in my idea.

Dwarf/Kobold Armor
Hi Does anyone have any house rules or special methods of assigning bonuses to Dwarven/Kobold/Jotan armor? Weapons are pretty straight forward; +x% to the cost of the weapon for +x to strike (or whatever). How can the high quality of Dwarven armor be reflected by a game mechanic? My group uses a dam...

I'd love to see it also. I've only been waiting since it was announced in Yin Sloth Jungles in 1994. I'm sure it'll hit the printers soon.

Re: First adventure finds - Magical weapons/armor/items
One of my groups did Gersidi first and cleaned the place out. They loved it. The Chalice of Dragonwright gave them an identity, Deathkiss made them strong. They still talk about it now and we played it in 2001. Deathkiss was lost after a bit, so it didn't cause too much trouble.

Re: Equipment check...
One of my PC's carries a rook chess piece everywhere he goes. The rook transforms into a tower fort, stays that way until either canceled by the one who called it forth or 5 days pass, 15 if on a ley line, or indefinite if on a nexus. He found it in a treasure trove, of which he could pick 1 thing ...

How much Georaphic Knowledge does a 1st level player know? A 7th level player? Do maps of the Known World exist for the players? How much would a map like this cost?

Re: Demon/Deevil bones & blood
Thanks for the input. I decided to play it that the demon/deevil's body began to disintegrate upon death, and if the party could seperate a piece from the body, it (the piece) would remain. I had them roll 1D4 and that's how many ounces they'd get. As well, the Alchemist doesn't buy for more than 30...

Demon/Deevil bones & blood
I remember seeing a post before on demon bones, but I cannot find it, sorry. So: When a demon or deevil is killed what happens to the remains? Do the lie around? Do the dissapear in a puff of brimstone? If the dissapear how do we get components for wards? If you can kill a demon with normal weapons ...

Re: Where do Changeling come from?
I don't know if I agree with Nexx's opinion, but the writing sure is good. Now I'm eager to see his MoM in print! Changelings, ( Summoner-Wizards in particular! ) have always been a favorite of mine and I've played a few. I always assumed that they would/could only propagate with another Changeling....

PFRPG & Ninjas and Superspies
Hey, I'm thinking of letting my players take a martial art from N&S for our upcoming campaign. Right now, if their PFRPG OCC can take Martial Arts H to H, I'll let them pick one from N&S for an additional skill slot. How else could I handle this? Do you see any problems? Any house rules I ca...

I haven't seen this question posted before which surprizes me:
Which of the many Palladium artists is your favorite?
Mine is Ramon Perez, his work on Bill Coffin's books are genius.

Re: RE: Wild Speculation
Well as I recall, Randi Cartier was the one charged with the Old Kingdom books. She turned in a HUGE manuscript and it got shelved for editing. Here is hoping that it is in the works to be released. PLEASE, no meta-plot like the SoT. Personally think that would drive the last nail in the coffin of ...
