Does anybody run a low powerd game of chaos earth? Where the monsters are normal but the players are normal citizens who probly dont have a laser pistol between them who dont have enviromental body armor or robots. Where they have to use thier gasp, brains to get through, think about it this could be the best thing sense flooper canon fodder (cant think of any other use for them other than meat for the grinder)
Im gonna use the HU skill rules with vagrant xp tables and interview my players on thier characters to doll out thier gear, im thinking minor stuff thats usefull not combat gear, for this type of campaign all i can think of is Mc Guiver eat your heart out, if the players do this right. I dont know it s 2 am and I need to write a adventure.

I would love to play a low powered Chaos Earth game. It reminds me of the Invid Invasion from Robotech, where people ran in fear of beings they could not even hurt. Inter-human fighting, reliance on magic for MD protection, and even stealing USA and NEMA gear just to survive. That would be cool.
I want to see from Palladium:

I have had a 'low' powered campaign running through my head for Chaos Earth for awhile now. The players start off as NEMA who are somehow stranded by themselves in a suddenly violent world. They get word that one of the few surviving forces are heading to Chicago, so they can head that way. I was planning on using Google Earth (with some imagination) to track their progress over the terrain. The players start with the minimal equipment they had on them at the time, which isn't much (They were on a survival training mission or something) and must fight their way to 'Civilization'. These are the games I love to GM for. The power level stays manageable and there is actually a question of the players survivability as they must use both their brains and brawn to get to their destination. Make the players THINK!
