New Wormwood Map...

Unread post by Braden Campbell »

Brave New Wormwood!

The map that goes along with my Rifter Submission/Dimension Book.

On it you can see the Grand Barrens, and some new factions in the war against the Unholy: Ezud, Reorith Province, and the Far Sovereignties.

the other pics in the bucket are some of my Dark Eldar...

If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.

Sweet map (based on the compass rose, it looks like someone else is a CC fan.) If I may make a suggestion, though: crop in your sides. I know you want to convey the openness of those areas, but if you're looking to put that map in a commercial product (the Rifter) that white space will eat a LOT of page when it goes to print. If there's accompanying text explaining how open or unexplored those areas are, you don't need to also express it on the map.

Thanks Steve!

Yah, if it was to ever see print, I'd cut the sides off and say "4,000 miles to cross", or something. But I wanted people to see jsut how much empty/unexplored space there still is.

It's too bad. Those Wasser of yours would fit very nicely into the Far Sovereignties...

If Palladium does indeed publish your article in the Rifter (I sure as hell hope they do), maybe they will include your map as a poster insert and thus the barren space would not be cropped..

That'd be cool in my book (pun unintended) at least.

Actually, my plan is: if they publish Fleets of the Three Galaxies (finnishing this week) either as a Rifter or a small sourcebook, then I will have a chat about a Brave new Wormwood project.

How about breaking up the blank space with the Wormwood equivalent of a "Here there be monster" images you'd see on older maps?
