Jane's, GlobalSecurity.org or FAS...where do you get your military vehicle and equipment information?

Please tell me that no one uses Merc Ops to get their information.

I don't.

though I am curious as to your problem with the sourcebook. (I don't have it so a review would be appriciated)
Sometimes, you're like a beacon of light in the darkness, giving me some hope for humankind. ~ Killer Cyborg

You can have something done good, fast and cheap. If you want it done good and fast, it's not going to be cheap. If you want it done fast and cheap it won't be good. If you want something done good and cheap it won't be done fast. ~ Dark Brandon

After the well done Merc Town, the poorly done reprint/useless material/crack in Merc Ops was quite dissappointing. You could have cut two thirds of the book easily and added them to Merc Town. (Of course the same holds true for Merc Adventures.) The new stuff was mostly reprints, either from other books or Rifter #4, the Wanted NPCs were page fillers (as was the whole page devoted to reprinting the missile table), and the GAW "MDC updates" of several contemporary weapons were worse than the contemporary versions.
