HU2 and N&SS Question

Unread post by Yendor »

Ok, flipping through N&SS, seeing the BGCS, and was pondering, with the "new" HU2, would you give the special hardware skills to the gizmoteers if they pick the right programs? If not, would you use the construction rules but up the BGCS base skill?

Actually, I already turned the "special hardware skills" into regular skills. I hate classes whose special powers are "skills."

Based on comic book characters sa they are, HU characters will often feature those who have no powers, but rather advanced skill sets. They are our battling bowmen, our thrill-seeking gymnast/martial arts vigilantes, our costumed bounty hunters, and what have-you.

There. Managed to stay on topic, and make a bunch of comic referrences doing so.

It happens from time to time Sentinel. You're usually on topic, just sometimes in a round about way.

I use it as two different time periods: N&SS is for my early (eternal) eighties campaign, and HU2 for "Before the Bomb" near future tech.

I'd be more inclined to simply let you use hte hardware class in N&SS.
