Actually NIMI, I think he was posting that as "generalised comment" as opposed to singling any one person out...we all do it, whether "Americans", "Rednecks", "Torontonians", etc... ;)

Probably for the immensity of the Ninja Craze of the late Eighties which made a total mess of the public perception of ninjas.
I suppose in addition to Sho Kosugi, we could lay some blame on Michael Dudikoff, David Bradley, and anyone else who starrred in a movie with "Ninja" in the title.

And, Terry Bogard is no match for Ryu.

Ryu from Street Fighter.
I always did well with the combinations of Ryu and Cyclops, and Ryu and Captain America.

I wouldn't call it "lame". When I play MK (II, Trilogy, IV), I tend to do best with the basics: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang.
I have other faves (Noob Saibot, Kitana, Reptile, Rain), but the basic three are my best three.
