Post up! Post these versions of yours.

I had on my previous computer a "WaveRide" OCC and Related Host Armor. It was the Resistance's answer to "Navy SeALs.

The only problem with giving all these new OCCs Host Armour is that HA is supposed to be rather rare in the Resistance, limited mostly to the Dreadguard, Roughnecks, and Outriders (though I believe that last could do just as easily with Living Armour).

I Agree, Living Armour only, but perhaps stylised by sub-set like the Packmaster.

Well perhaps each great house does have some peculiarity and as for packmasters, well who said the pack had to eb of dogs? Exist felines, insects, snakes, birds and lot fo more thant just dogs(I'm for cats and snakes)
I can truly picture in my mind a female packamaster wiht two or three Spliced Snakes coiled around her.

I could see these as variations of the Packmaster for different situations. I could see the dolphin pod working well. Just switch out some skills for marine skills, and dolphins for the dogs. The cats would be a bit more difficult. Lions would work well as a basis for a pack of big cats. No real change from the normal pack. If you want to use another kind of cat as a basis such as a tiger or leopard or whatever, I would limit it to a single or at most pair of animals. Setup the Packmaster as a assassin, or lone wolf type with the cat or pair of cats as his only partners and backup. Another option is the sabertooth/smiledon as your model. You could go either way with this animal, either a pack, or a single animal.

I actually thought of doing a Packmaster version with giant cats also, but they seemed like they would be less versital than normal Gorehounds. Really all they can do is kill. They wouldn't be the loyal watchdog/trackers/scouts. But since huge predatory cats did sound like a cool idea, I made a War Mount version. I still think it's a good idea. I just couldn't think of a way to make them more than just pack killers without making them Gorehound clones.

The only problem I see with snakes is they aren't that big or fast, and especially aren't big AND fast.

The only advantage I can come up with for using big cats over gorehounds is the lone wolf scenario.

Snakes may not be big and/or fast but they do make great tunnel guardians since speed becomes a non-issue. They're also wonderfully suited to aquatic operations.

Snakes would work well in tunnels, but I see them more as an area denial weapon, especially against other humans. For whatever reason people have a natural fear of snakes.

first off, snakes can be big, very big, like the red tailed boa (8 to 10 ft!). And not all humankind fear them, in India their are regarded as positive animals.
Give the scalies a chance!

That still goes to the big or fast. Many cultures worship and love snakes. My comment was like many predators snakes are revered, but also feared my many people.

And this is not good? I mena if i wann build bio-wepaons i'll base it on most frightening and deadly animals. And guess what on list of deadliest animals snakes are seconds! (first are mosquitoes carring infections and deadly viruses)

I agree with you, dude, the setting need REALLY more info. It would be fun add some detail tot he world, and amke it more than just "go aroudn shooting machines" A bloodless version of "go aroudn chopping zombies" , an improvement of "hangin around blasting aliens" all evolved fromt he always glorius " lost in a dungeoun bringing mayhem on unsuspecting gold filled monsters".
