Dude... most of the books you're writing have already been pushed back as is...
Now another book series we have to wait on? :P
You're killing us here (actually, it Kev's print scheduling)

Keep up the great work Carl! I'll buy the phase world stuff you write!
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

Looking forward to these new books! Although I'm sure I know which one you are referring too.

It's a key factor in my current game. None of my players have started looking for it yet though. They get easily distracted...

And as for writing projects, I'm convinced that the search for the Forge in the Anvil is driving exploitation of the Thundercloud; so a proposed Thundercloud Galaxy book would tie into the overall Forge War in a lateral way.

We never get distracted Bray. If we do its your fault for adding all that jucy fluff text for us to run with (over and over and over again). I expect a character shuffle and the destruction or capture of a certain ship will put us back on track.

I agree; finding the Forge is like digging a hole in water.

However, the various parties might find some crazy powerful artifact that could be mistaken for the Forge...

I will have to cut off the thumb of Jurgo Kilter to find out I think. But finding a "Dummy" forge is a great idea to maintain a war virtually indefinatly as each side will fight to either maintain posession or obtain the forge. As with any mysterious artifact it could take centuries to discover how to use the forge as Im sure it doesn't come with a manual.

Actually the book is nearing completion. Its the third in the Minion War series. There really isn't to much on the Forge War, but it is a key factor that needed to be considered in this book. so there is some mention of it. Its probably not what you guys are looking for and could be a book by itself. Maybe Braden, GMPhD will write it after he finishes the Thundercloud Galaxy. :D

Both of those sounds pretty cool!

Wolfen Wars was a suppliment for the Palladium Fantasy RPG promised back in the early 90's.

So, uh... past I guess.

It still sounds very cool! (Wolfen Wars that is!)

darkmax wrote:oh I thought you meant wolfen wars as in Phase Worlds space wolfens.

I thought Wolven wars would be the effort to repatriate the TGE wolven back into the Wolven empire. As per the New CEO of the CCW.
Voirr Jawhn: a Loyalist Wolfen, and retired Quatortia. Her platform would include the expulsion of the T'zee (unless they immediately bring themselves up to code with the Compact) and an aggressive policy of "repatriating" the Dark Tribe Wolfen of the TGE.

That would be another interesting idea for yet another book. And I'm sure it might be do able as anything from a single adventure book to a multi-part adventure set in several books. This could also expand on the 3G universe quite a bit!

darkmax wrote:[...] frankly, I think the Forge should never be found..... Like the Holy Grail.

It can't be found in a manner of "going to the place where it is", because a being/device on its power scale is really everywhere . . . after all, the Cosmic Forge is seen on a regular basis . . . it reveals itself to every Comsic Knight.

The people who are searching throughout the spacetime of the Three Galaxies for it will never find it because they aren't looking in the right place, inside their own hearts (and even then, only the truly pure ever make it).
