Have any of you guys puzzled why this board is so slow, compared to the others palladium boards(with the exception fo System Failure).
I figured out this cuold be related to the fact that we are not many interested in splcier(i'm a case apart i'm a megaversal croonie, I'm into anything palladium). Or perhaps is the fact that on long term the man against the machine campaign become boring, mostly for the lack of charismatic villains. Apart the seven main villainess , the average robot has the charme of a toaster. And they don't feel pain, a fact that disappoint the bloodthirsty munchkins. Another cause of this sluggish moment of the board could be the relative lack fo reference material to talk about. No no soucebook, but referecne stuff, like pictures, book, comics or movies. Other games got plenty of it. Biotech don't get this luxury, being a very recetn concpet, less than 20 years old. On the other side the them of man vs. Machine was more than exploited.
sincerely don't know, perhaps the most simple answer is that people got busy.

Well, I don't yet have the book... And when I add up the cost of what books I am missing... I think it should be another 2 or 3 years to catch up. I think ... I hope.

Anyway, Splicers was on my list to buy at the Open House, but I had a budget, and I had 18 books on my list that I wanted and I knew I could only get 5. Heh.

Splicers is very much a "special interest" setting at present. Hopefully this changes once the in progress sourcebooks are done and see print.

As it happens, BtS2 suffers the same problems.

For me, i Dislike the Man vs Machine aspect of the game completely. Its very boring. The AIs are not to my liking either.

So i focus on HOUSE vs HOUSE conflicts and Politics within a single house as well as politics between Houses.

Thats much more fun. :D

My Splicer game came to an end tonight as we started a HU2/Nightbane game. Players = Mutant/Hardware character (Invulnerability/Immortality major), Mega-Imbued character (Sonic Flight, Divine Healing, Matter Expulsion Metal, Disintergration, Mega-Immortality), and a Were-Insect Nightbane.

Hey now....that's evil.

Those things get deleted on a regular basis, so any posts you have in them are temporary at best. Well, maybe not the ATB story one

Yeah, the threads get pruned, but the post count stays - the "count" system is very screwy like that.

Huh - just realized that I am probably eligible to get into Sound Off now.

I think that I'll pass.
"Things aren't what they used to be" is the rallying cry of small minds. When men say things used to be better, they invariably mean they were better for them, because they were young, and had all their hopes intact. The world is bound to look a darker place as you slide into the grave.

Judging by posts I've seen made by people, the post count doesn't stay....

Yes, but I'm somehow excused because
a) I'm not english, and I don't live in an english speaking nation.
b) Typing errors happen!(to me more than anyone else)...I hate qwerty keyboard! :x

The last time I was in the Dark Dimension, everyone there spoke fluent Demongogian, what happened?

Well recently Dark Dimension was brought Freedom and Democracy, American Style, so we were kindly asked to pass to English... Ya know President Splynncryth can be such picky about such things

With the quality of this book it will catch on good. Just needs two more books to set things up good, but I think the lack of magic and psionics is holding some people back. What a great book!

No one lets up on me
Svartalf- if Cherico were a character created in a point game system, he'd have all his scores in geeky skills and his youtube and weird net stuff schticks all paid through a a Terminal Bad Luck (with more nasty GM intervention) disadvantage, and probably an Uncouth (can not have social skills) disad as well...
In an RPG with deadly situations that character would have had to be replaced a dozen times over[
