Question about Immortals

Unread post by jolt »

In PU2, it says to use the Mega-Hero advancement table for Immortals. But not all Immortals are classed as mega-heroes. It seems vastly unfair to make a non-mega Immortal use the Mega advabcement table.

Now, Some of those non-megas get some pretty hefty bonuses but then so do some Aliens. What do you think the best chart is to use for non-mega Immortals.

go with Alien in my opinion. cuz in a way, the immortals are akin to aliens as they are not human perse.

I felt that the Immortals got enough advantages that the Mega-Hero table was not so out of line for them to use for Advancement.

If you don't lose a slower experience table you end up with characters quickly becoming very, very high level, which is fine if you want your immortal to go through classes like others go through socks.

So you're saying that the Immortals not listed as mega should have been?

Yeah, in deferrence to the special abilities inherent to the various immortals.
While they may not all be "megas" strictly speaking, they are more powerful, with access to a slightly broader expanse of power than the average experiment or mutant character.
