I was just wondering of all the people who bought the book really or currently play the game or games. I am trying to find some like minded poeple to run a mutant animal game. Something like TMNT or more in step with the old TMNT/ATB books.

Just curious what others are doing....

Used to have access to all the old TMNT/AtB books. I even played in a couple games. However, I don't currently run/play in a game due to a combination of lack of "like-minded people" and a current lack of access. The former owner sold most of his TMNT books. Now the only books I have access to are Mutants in Orbit and Transdimensional Turtles.

Own all the old books and the new one but at this moment I'm not in the middle of a game with it. Not many people where I live are intrested in a AtB campaign as they were at my former place of address.

I own the book, but I haven't been able to convince anyone to play it. They seem to consider ATB a fuzzier version of RIFTS. I don't quite agree with it, being a fan of the old "...Other Strangeness".

Until I can get some players, it'll serve as a supplement for the likes of RIFTS LoneStar and Heroes Unlimited. This isn't a bad thing, but I'd still love to give the game a chance. :-?

I remember buying TMNT when it first came out, my RPG group couldn't get enough. Then, years later when the movie came out, it made it difficult to attract mature players.

yep... after the Cartoon and 2 movies... the target audiance of the Turtles was 6-9... hardly the age for RPGs... and the people who did know the Comics... were to old for me to game with at the time... my Mom thought RPG's were the products ofr Deamon worshipers and Pedophiles....

I own it, and I like it. I use it a great deal to enhance my other campaigns. But, I have no interest in running it as a stand alone game campaign.
I have played in an ATB game and enjoyed that.

My friends and I played two separate campaigns in the early 90's. The first was a modern day setting where mutants were rare and feared, much like the TMNT comics. And the second was an After the Bomb type campaign, that eventually turned us on to Rifts. At the time we were all around 12, and most of our parents would not buy us Rifts, thanks to the cover art mostly

I own all the books. I haven't run a TMNT campaign since 89,90. The last AtB game I ran was a year, year and a half ago. My groups been focused on an HU campaign for the last 4-6 months.

I own all of the AtB and TMNT books, but it's been a while since I've had anyone to run the setting for. However, last month I ran an AtB demo as part of the Megaversal Ambasadors program at my not-so-local game store.

A few weeks ago I found two people who were interested in playing, so I've started a new campaign for them also.

Otherwise, I've tried running play-by-chat and play-by-post AtB games, but none of them were able to run a full course.

The longest game I ran lasted about a year and was about a mutant frilled lizard in AtB Down Under who found that fame was a double edged sword.
