I would rather see HWU the most.
MU... That would be the Immortal's section of PU2.
Mega...is more like a augmention to a char then a power cat itself, at the present.

May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

I agree. These types of characters often don't have very many options so they all tend to look the same. The Stage Magician is a cool concept but if you've seen one you've seen them all. Or the Hunter/Vigilante which, IMO, is two different concepts. Martial Arts can add some flavor but not enough. Stage Magician with Te and Stage Magician with Shaolin Kung Fu still doesn't distinguish the class enough for me.
As for Hardware, I prefer to just roll for powers normally and call them tech. You can still give the devices AR and SDC if you want but, for me anyways, tech and money are just comic book plot devices. I don't like having to track money in a comic based game unless I'm playing extremely gritty.

I don't know that Megas unlimited would have enough material for a whole book, but I can see it as a section of PU4. I would definitely like to see at least an expanded list of weaknesses for megas.
Personally, I think that we have a duty as role-players to try to anchor each other to reality a bit. To keep other gamers from being complete freaks and weirdos, or even psychopaths, if we can. Killer Cyborg

You want super invention then. it's specifically for a character that can invent devices with super powers.

You can have something done good, fast and cheap. If you want it done good and fast, it's not going to be cheap. If you want it done fast and cheap it won't be good. If you want something done good and cheap it won't be done fast. ~ Dark Brandon

I agree that it would be difficult to make an entire book on the expanded Mega, unless you include NPCs.
A dozen or two pages with expanded weaknesses, class specific Mega Abilties and options would be great. It would be nice for that Physical or Special Training chracter to have options other then SNPS and increased range for powers.
If you do an expanded Mega section and combine it with a few other left overs you might have enough for a book. It really depends on what other books are being done.
There is tons of material for Hardware, Martial Arts, Magic, and Psychic books out there. I already uses tons of classes and material from Rifts, Phase World, N&SS, and Palladium Fantasy among others. For my own use a set of guidelines to do what I'm already doing would be more then enough, but that would only sell to us freaks who had 200 books. I would rather see an updated N&SS/Mystic China with an updated conversion section then a MA book specifically HU MA book. The Magic, Psychic, and Hardware books would be more useful to me as stand alones with a mix of new and converted material.

You're absolutely right. And that's generally what I do, even for characters that are fully robotic. If I want super-android to have some kind of Intangibility or Density Increase, I just make a normal super, give him those powers and say he's an android. I don't want to have to worry about buying a Phase Modifier for a million bucks and a Gravity Inducer for 750K. In the superhero genre that just strikes me as unnecessary. Also, I don't really like the hardware items and cybernetics that HU2 provides. To me anyway, it doesn't represent comic book style technology at all (which, as I stated before, is usually just a plot gimmik to justify a characters powers; same as a mutant or any other explanation).
