I've got a new Munchkin Cosmo knight

Unread post by Aramanthus »

I have a show for people to watch! "Secrets of the Deep." It follows a bull sperm whale thru it's life. After watching it I did some research. There are some recorded jaw bones of some Bulls that measure over 5.25 meters long. Which would make the whale over 80 feet long and around 110 tons. The largest one on record belonged to a bull that would have been around 90 feet long and weigh in at 120 tons! After watching the show I have to say I feel the Sperm Whale is a warrior. It is the largest predator in the ocean and it feeds on the other largest predator in the ocean.

And guess what it's not the "Giant squid". They actually found a new and different species of larger squid in the past few years. And the name they chose was the Colossal squid. It has 2inch swivel hooks in each of it's suckers. This is very different than the suckers found on the giant squid. They have circular toothy rings in each of their suckers.

Now something that we have heard about is sexually dimorphism. Which means there are differences between the sexes of the animal in question. In sperm whales the male is far larger than the female. In the squids the female is larger than the male.

So after watching this show I think PB made a mistake forcing the male sperm bi form whale to be a whale singer. I think they are warriors!
After watching the show I feel these great creatures should be considered non spell users. Therefore my plan on having one Bi-Form Sperm Whale and his escape buddy a Bi-form killer Whale end up in Phase world thru a Rift and both of them ending up as Cosmo knights. I know it's as munchkin as can be, but I have to create them for the shear pleasure of trying it out.

As such, I plan on producing a Biform sperm whale cosmo knight and his buddy and fellow CK. They both escaped from the Lord of the Deep and were pursued into a Rift. Which carried them to Phase world.

I'm sure people will hate this concept, but after watching the show, I have to do it!

Given the sheer size of a whale, I'd increase the MDC x10 and ppe x2.

With a 20 pound brain they should be smarter!

Besides it's an experiment to just see how munchkin they would both be. And they are only to be NPC's. Not player characters.

Actually from what I had read on it the colossal squids mantles are over twice the size of a giant squid.

I saw the show in question. It was very good. Now the thing is, looking at the CK O.C.C. the only thing I see that you get from the original species is the higher attribute if its higher than the CK. Looks like M.D.C. and the armor are the same to me. Other than having a whale in knights armor how is it going to be any more powerful than a human turned CK?

Too much ammonia in the flesh....

But I gotta agree that it follows that there could/should be cetacean aliens who could conceivably become CKs...pretty rare, though, given a tendancy not to develop manipulatory appendages(the only other cetacean-based aliens I know of in Palladium are the Mechanoid-manipulated Psi-Warpers, who are little more than cashew-shaped invalids with msimatched arms..)

CKs move like nothing else ever seen before...You'd have to be the size of a small moon before dodge penalties started becoming revelant for in-flight attacks...

A dolphin CK would be interesting. Flipper with armor.

Hey, he's already got the instincts for 3-d movement through dark depths...and a streamlined shape...

wouldn't Pnuema Bi-Forms fall under the 'no creatures of magic' restriction? they are creations of magic, and have magical transformation and abilities.

i'd love to see a Dolphin CK, or a whale CK though.

biforms are magical fusions of human and dolphin/orca/whale, created by the lord of the deep.

they can change between human or animal form, or a metallic version of either, which is an MDC form, plus a few other powers.

basicaly a magically created aquatic werebeing.
