I think I would go with the dedicated... simply for the fact that I use pre-revised rules when playing N&SS. That way... its possible to have an exclusive and an additional style. But thats just me.
But then again... at one time I did play a Mutant Monkey Wu Shih.. but that was for an HU game.

Actually, the Wordly Martial Artist was the first OCC that could learn two martial arts. The original DMA could learn THREE martial arts.
I think you'll find the original N&S martial artist classes more useful than the nerfed versions seen in the revised edition.

Mr. Wongburger wrote:I'm trying to find a reason to still play a Dedicated. The only drawbacks for a Wu Shih are being a vegetarian, a desire to do things by hand (note: a desire, not a requirement), and never using weapons. While the "No Weapons" clause is obviously its biggest fault...
Especially if you want the Hwarang-Do/Moo Gi Gong combo.
Also, weapons are kind of useful. I mean, take the simultaneous attack option; it's great if I can let someone land a shot on me while they have to let me tag them with a Paralysis Attack -- but it's better if I'm the DMA who can parry with one weapon while incapacitating my foe with the other. Or if I'm a DMA who uses One Shot to not even bother slugging it out when I can shoot someone from range -- even with modern weapons -- even in concert with the Advanced Pilot skill program, what with its knack for Weapon Systems and Air-To-Air Combat and thus and such. (Man, if that guy is the Dedicated Master of Moo Gi Gong and Hwarang-Do, he really is using anything as a weapon: paired swords, lengths of chain, rocket launchers, B-2 bombers -- it's all good.)

Yeah I really want to know if it is possible to get the older Ninjas and Superspies material. The Nerfed characters are kind of... well... yeah...
