I have this wacky idea of gathering together all of my Palladium titles, bringing them to the Open House, meeting up with a group of Palladium fans, and putting together a new setting using the rules. Basically, come up with an overall setting, a skill list, stat out any important equipment, and create the 'core' OCCs (4-6 OCCs). Something along the lines of the way Chaos Earth was presented in the Rifter.
Theoretically, we could hash out the setting in one time block, do character creation overnight on our own (or together if people wanted), and run a session during a block the next day.
I would be glad to facilitate the setting creation if there was interest, but it's something that I think would be a lot of fun if there was a nice sized group to work around (obviously having people with writing or art skills would be nice too).
Any interest, or is this further proof that I am out of my mind?

Why isn't someone proficient enough to do so running one already? I would love to get my ATB character into some Rifts. I'm obviously not because I'm not proficient enough.
