I have a player who wants a Dog Boy but wants him to be a Merc Soldier, and the question is. Does the "Dog Boy" still get the special features listed in the RUE on pages 145-147? Are those just for Dog Boys and not a Feral one who is in another OCC?
Thanks for any help or direction for help.

If the GM allows the RCC bonuses, increased attributes, SDC special talents inherent to a dog boy will be universal regardless of the OCC selected. There is no reason he couldn't have thoes RCC bonuses and an occ on top, subject to GM approval.

Get the Lone Star book has "freeborn" dog boys who can became other OCCs

Well, sort of, but R.C.C. would imply that they cannot take an O.C.C. Thus Dog Boys are a race (the Dog Boy O.C.C. is the Coalition Training, but you knew that
).
But forget about that.
Anyways, IIRC, they would get all the abilities #1-11 (psionics, sense of smell, etc.), you just ignore pretty much the rest of the O.C..C., aside from the attributes and base S.D.C.
