The Anvil Galaxy comprises the bulk of the UWW as well, and yes the Alteese are cool.

I'd say I'd have to agree, most of the races could be used in that way. Just have them be hit by a Rift and end up on a world where their high tech stuff dones't work. There, they are now a fantasy world citizens for the time being.

since i dont have the book, i have NO idea of whats in the anvil galaxy or even what could possibly be there. i dont even know IF they would be interested in non-fantasy literatured types of beings.
you have the minotaur .. the dwarf .. the elf .. so, if you carry on the thread you have new dragons .. sprites .. true Dryads [the real tree spirit and NOT the occ] .. then there's the faun .. the satyr .. etc.
the basic creatures from mythology. i guess it all depends on how strange you really want to go.

my main thought, taking into consideration what was posted at the start .. the anvil galaxy is nothing more than a bunch of mythological beings from a Sylvan' convention that got away. just beings from mythology.
