2007 Open House Schedule

Unread post by Wayne Smith »

Hiya, folks.

I've just put up a mostly-finished schedule of games and events for this year's Open House. For those of you who are running games, please check the schedule for any problems you might find with your game entries, or major scheduling issues. If you don't see your game there, please e-mail me at palladium-gm@palladiumbooks.com ASAP, and I'll coordinate with you to get your game up there.

Thanks, and hope to see you all next week!

Awesome!

Thanks Wayne :-)

Out of curiosity, I've heard the Costume Contest is going to be Saturday night. Is that before or after the Kevin PF Surprises (or has it been moved elsewhere?)

I see there are games posted on Friday, are thoes only for VIP attendees or is that for anybody. If it is for anybody where are the games to be played?, at Palladium. How do we get in without a VIP pass?

Palladium Fantasy Scenario in the far north of the
Wolfen Empire
Description: A mixed group heads to the far, far north, to deal with a very strange threat.
Length: 3 Hours.
Number of Players: 8
Characters: I'd love it if people showed up with their favorite Palladium Fantasy characters. Different races and classes welcome.

I'll be there! What level range should the character be for this one? "Favorite" for me would be "incompatible with 99% of the universe" for others, so I'll be packing a well-loved alt. One thing's for sure - it's a Wolfen!

High level / Powerful characters shouldn't be a problem... If necessary I'll do a little adjustment, up or down...

So, am I to understand that there will only be the three panel talks this year? :?

That would suck, as my game takes place during all three (as long as I get the timing I asked for). :-(

Here are the details of my two games:

Phase World, Dimensional Outbreak – Center of Hell

Time: Friday 8:00PM till Midnight
Setting: Phase World Scenario based in the Three Galaxies
Length: 3 - 4 hours
Number of Players:8
Characters:I have pre-gens, but if you have a character you want to bring show it to me and I'll consider it. Levels are 5 to 8.
Game Description:The characters are a group of independent spacers. While on a simple job the characters become involved in events that put them in the middle of the Minion War and Center is the key to it all. Can the players get to Phase World in time to warm them, or is it already too late for Center?

The Mechanoids – Supply Run
Time:Saturday 8:00 PM till midnight
Setting:The Mechanoids
Length: 3 - 4 hours
Number of Players:8
Characters: pre-gens provided
Game Description:The Invasion of Gideon-E has begun. Supplies are desperately needed to stay in the fight. A small commando group is needed to go the Highland Plateau base to recover any supplies that remain. The problem is the base is far behind enemy lines and probably occupied by the Mechanoids. Do you have what it takes? Contact Commander Kingsford to volunteer.
Note:The OCC's gear and equipment have been updated to current Rifts rules. I will also be using the mechanoids as statted out in Rifts Source Book two: Mechanoids so this will be a Mega-damage game. I have a limited number of print outs of said OCC's and such.

Your Manhunter game? I finish that just in time to head to the GM panel.

Actually, no, it is mis-scheduled as of right now. The end time that I want is 5:30 PM. I can see that we're going to have yet another problem... :?

The schedule has been updated today (and will no doubt be updated several more times this week).

Something very noteworthy that is not on the schedule (because we don't know exactly when it will be, beyond "sometime Saturday") is a game run by Carmen Bellaire. It's going to be a sort of Megaversal crossover, and my understanding is that characters WILL NOT be provided. Carmen asks you to bring your favorite character, from whatever game you like, so he can kill it. :-D

I have been given absolutely no information as to who's supposed to be on what panel. I just tried to schedule games around them for those who I suspected would be on each one.

I have a crazy question in that case. Who is in charge of the panels? And thanks for the quick response.
And I was never told either as to who is on what panel.

Woot! Glad to see the gap inserted between Kevin's Saturday games to allow the Costume Contest in between!

Thanks for the updated schedule.

I guess maybe we'd better figure out who's doing panel talks, before they get here :-D

I know the MA's had been working on trying to put together some panels, are they involved? I had been invited to join a panel on Epic Campaigning, but never heard anything back about it. Is that one of these?

Yay, con-prep!

If any talks/panels are about Palladiums future on the web I would like to be there for it.
