I would like to pose a query to all of you. Assuming that you have the "core" books for PFRPG (The main book, Dragons & Gods, Monsters & Animals), what ONE book would you get that's already in print (sorry, no Old Kingdom) and why do you choose that one?
I'm not saying I'm only going to get one (I already have many, but not all, yet)...just curious as to what the most popular or most useful one is.

Yin Sloth cos it is the best mix in any of the books.
It has:
History of the world & the specific region
Specific gaming rules re: the area (temperatures, bone/stone weapons, jungle travel, traps etc.)
New races
New monsters
New OCC's
Regional breakdowns
Mapped towns (but not too many)
Adventures that can be looped into a campaign or played singly.
Use that as the basis for all sourcebooks IMO.
It has:
History of the world & the specific region
Specific gaming rules re: the area (temperatures, bone/stone weapons, jungle travel, traps etc.)
New races
New monsters
New OCC's
Regional breakdowns
Mapped towns (but not too many)

My favorite sourcebook is Eastern Territories, but oddly enough, I use Western Empire and Dragons and Gods the most. (I use the Eastern Territory as the starting point for most of my adventures, but the players are usually pretty quick to get away from there.)
This world is far too small not to want to see it all, but life is far too short to allow that to happen. - Falcon, Ranger (My primary hero in PFRPG setting)
