I was looking through some old campaign notes from a campaign based around Kingdale, thought it would be neat to share with you 'posts from the Kingsdale Adventurer's Guild and Mercenary Staffing Solutions Ad Board'. Feel free to use in your own campaign or add some additional posts to it.

HIRING: Kingsdale wants you! Looking for talented recruits to join the Forest Rangers, Donner’s Division, and the Magic Militia. If you’ve got what it takes drop by the KDF Recruiting Office in the Marketplace.

Not to bump, but I'm surprised this post didn't get a few more responses. I was actually hoping to make this into something like the random encounter tables. Every entry (including the 'ads') is intended as an adventure hook, with a line and sinker to be discovered.
