This would seem to be a problem, because of the great difference in mdc bases for races. Low mdc races almost instantly die while BIG mdc races can survive for days.Mindwalker wrote:Note: Supernatural and MDC characters have no special defense against dehydration, and become so as easily as 'regular' humans. Damage is increased to 4d6 MDC for MDC creatures.
Lets take an swamp-sludger from the d-bee book. starting mdc=pe
which means that he should dies of thirst in 1 or 2 hrs.
Now take a bruutasur (same book) which SHOULD need much more water because it's so much bigger has a starting mdc of 2d6X10+pe
Which means he'll survive 11 or 12 hours.
Bottom line, it should take CLOSE to the same time for races to die of thirst. Maybe a sliding scale based off of the starting mdc of the race?
Something like this:
Minor mdc(example pe mdc)=d6 damage
below average(example d6X10+pe) mdc=2d6
average mdc(example 2d6X10+pe)=4d6
major mdc(example 3d6X10+pe)=6d6
super mdc(example 2d6X100)=8d6
