Magic users and PPE???
If a spell caster castes a spell and uses PPE from their base can they replenish that base by drawing from a Ley Line or nexus?
Secondly How Long can a Magic User hold onto PPE that they pull from a Ley Line?

For all the PPE below the mage's base the duration of the PPE holding is indefinent. For the x3 above the base ppe, ME miniuts after meditation.

So...I got one letter wronge..........
Though IF there was an optional stat to use ME would be my 1st choice.

Actually RUE changes things to where they are insane. Page 186, right column, under "Available P.P.E. at Ley Lines" it says that the recovery rate is 10 P.P.E. once every melee round from a ley line and 20 P.P.E. from a nexus point.

75 GM Geek Points
That is exactly my point
Can a magic user Draw energy to replace what they used. if so why meditate or rest to recover lost/used PPE if you are on a ley line. A walker and rifter can draw 20 PPE from a ley line every melee. This just seems unfair when a psichic has to wait and rest there is no way for them to replenish their base when it is used up.

Lets clarify
PPE can be drawn on for others and Ley Lines for casting a spell with in the PE limit but they can not draw on others or a Ley Line in order to replenish the base PPE they may have used. that base has to return naturally ie meditation or rest just like a psi character.

The PE limit is for how long I person can store P.P.E. over their Base. I mage can always and forever hold P.P.E. equal to his base. Including quick recharge from ley-lines.
I can see it now
A magic user focuses only on magic for the most part and dont carry much for weapons. While a psi character unless they are a master use tech in conjunction with their powers.
