Any MDC damage aginst an SDC limb, unless that limb has hundreds to thousand of SDC, is completely crushed.
This mystic shouldn't have any forearm left, although his sholder MIGHT survive.
What I wanna know is why he didn't just cast Supernatural Strength on himself

The way I see it is you need to keep things in context. Would your character have been putting every ounce of strength behind his attempt to arm wrestle the mystic? If so, then I could definitely see his arm being turned into pudding, otherwise I would agree with the dislocation of joints and maybe a few broken hand bones.
I would go with the later otherwise you would be crushing every SDC hand you shook.
This reminds me of an instance in a game where one character, a mutant polar bear with crushing strength, back handed a fellow PC for making a smart comment. The GM had the polar bear make a strike roll (hit) and then had him roll damage (lot's of 6's). Well, it was enough to kill the character (called strike to the head). Most of us protested (the rest were laughing their arses off) since it was just a friendly backhand taken out of context by the GM (or maybe he was just getting bored ). We all have to keep in mind that the rules can't cover everything the players will think of doing to one another and at those times you just need to ignore the rules and ROLE-PLAY (as opposed to roll-play) it out.

Use restrained punch damage, unless you were trying to tear the guy's arm off.

He already said in his post he _was_ using his full strength.

This is correct.

I can't remember whether or not grackletooths inflict Mega Damage with their unarmed attacks, but in any case I would think this situation counts as a tear/pry attack, which does half your full strength punch damage, IIRC.
Actual rules for surviving Mega Damage attacks are found on page 359 of RUE.

I would agree that some damage may have been done. I would use the broken arm from the hp damage table. You don't make him roll and dice each time he picks up a glass or opens a door do you? I would assume that all characters have range of control over when they use their superstrenght. SInce the cyborg is the only character I know of that should have to make those rolls for at least a bit with with their sense of touch at only what was it memory 43% I think?
