i beleive that the standard fluff describes MM's being the size of a soda can. call it 30-40mm?

in robotech, standard MM's were sodacan sized and shaped, but plasma's were more like RPG rockets, about 20mm wide and 100mm long, though the foldout fins made it 40mm wide once fired.

I always considered mini-missile to be advance version of the 2.75" rockets found on modern helicopter, and prop planes during WWII thru Vietnam. I pictured them similar in diameter, but about half the length. I would say there is a standard size for all mini-missile, or else mini-missiles captured from a CS SAMAS might very well be useless for your Samson. Of course I've always though that e-clips would be weapon specific, like modern magazines.

in the Phase World Sourcebook the "micro" missile is said to be the size of a "magic marker" so I take that to mean a .50 caliber shell, give or take.

now this probably doesn't have anything to do with anything but...

the Naruni big plasma pistols fire a 20mm cartridge, and usually do 1D4x10.
I think I've seen a mini-missile as low as 6D6 and I know I've seen them 1D4x10 for plasma. So... I guess it works for me

I believe the mini-missile damage ranges from 4d6 (frag) to 1d6x10 (plasma).
