Nogoth Utoth Utoth Uloth.

A Dwarven Prince Barbarian Beast Rider in a Forgotten Realms campaign many many years ago.

He came from a barbarian tribe on the moon of Toril. But how I came up with his name...

I was going to tafe, and that particular nite, we had an important test. But I also had a a very bad headache, but didn't want to have to sit the test later. So, not really thinking about it, I took 2 zadine tablet, and 2 panadine tablets thinking it was either a really bad sinus, or a burgining migraine.

Of course, that's four doses of codine.

I was about 17 at the time so still living at home, but I had to catch the bus in as my car was dead, and mum was out else where. By the time I got to tafe, the headache wasn't so bad...

I was tripping for the duration of the test. Not a major trip, just a mild euphoria, felt like I was drifting along in a head full of fluffy wool.

During the test, the name just popped into my head. So I thought it would make a good character name, wrote it on a piece of paper for later.

As it turned out, the best test result for that course was that particular test. lol

Sveenee McFurrgles.

She was a mutant piglet. Fully bipedal but a waddler and uncoordinated (PP was 6 or something like that). Extremely nearsighted, too. Wanted to be a painter but could never produce anything that people could even pretend to like.

Remember those containment/disintegration pods on Georwell that had some tiny random chance that they just "go off"?

Yeah, i remember those, too.

I'm no so good with the funny names, but my players come up with a lot of 'em. My wife had a good one. She runs a Telepath whose nickname is Veil, but her true name is Claire Voyant. My buddy, whose name is James Mitchel Carmichael but has had the nickname Strut all his life, created a barbarian mercenary he nicknamed Strut. The characters real name? Semaj Lehctim Leahcimrac (James Mitchel Carmicheal backward.) Try saying it a few times. Didn't take long for the other players to start calling him Semaj "Lickedhimalotofrack!"

"Unhand me you slobbering son of an Orcish whore!" - Ariana Moonstone, Palladin (Another primary character of mine.)

"Bastard!" War cry of Strut, Barbarian Mercenary. (That's for you James!)

I have a PS: 35+ 6 foot 10 inch Headhunter Techno Warrior named John Thrasher. For being a straight human (he does not have cybernetics due to being a minor psychic), he has earned his last name many times over.

Nano Missiles - used once and GM banned further use. They weren't THAT bad. and did stop a demon scout ship from returning with valuable info.

Ok looking through my old character sheets...There are quite a few that were destroyed by fire many years back.

Frederick Incindiero AKA Freddy Fireball. He was the Son of a Fire Warlock and a Burster. With that sort of upbringing is it any wonder that the man collected Flame and heat based weapons?

Once, a friend was playing an Earthdawn game. He was playing a character of a race called the T'skrang, which is sort of a swashbuckling reptilian race.
He couldn't think of a race, so he asked me. I had just seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and in my head came the bit about, "We are no longer the Knights who say Ni. We are now the Knights who say Ikky ikky ikky ptang zoo boing.... etc."
So, I looked at him with a straight face, and suggested "Ikky P'tang."
He liked it. It was two or three sessions before he realized where I stole it from.

I had a vagabond for this one horrible campaign named Dave Lister.

I actually got someone to name their character something truly bad for like an hour before they realized what it really was. PM me and I'll tell you. That name will not get posted publicly.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."
