Conversion Question: After the Bomb to Rifts

If you are playing Rifts, use Rifts rules.

If you are playing After the Bomb, and then the PCs go to Rifts Earth, then use After the Bomb rules.

In other words, use the game you're actually playing.

If youare bringing a char in from another setting, that char's skills still follow the rules it was created under, along with h2h.

If you are making Rift chars from the ATB Mutant Animal creation rules for just how they look, as if you are creating a De-Bee race, then they would wholely follow the rifts rules becasue they were created with the Rifts char creation rules.

But if someone were making an AtB mutant animal grown in lonestar,.....

Didn't say that the AM had to be grown at lone star, what I gave was my typical way of char creation when using transfering a "Other Setting char" to rifts and using races not found in the rifts books to make a rifts char.

In other words, if you are taking a ready made char that is rifted onto Rifts earth, they fallow the rules they were made by.

Or

You just use the Race from another book and make you char via the rifts book. Fallowing the rifts char creation rules.


The problem with ATB2 chars is that some of the "background/educational" stuff gives extra Bio-E. Throwing off somethings for direct use in rifts.
