This is where you lost my interest:

My campaign is set in Chi-Town, after a series of cataclysmic events that have seen the fall of Tolkeen, the Federation of Magic and the Coalition States, leaving splinter elements of each.

Sorry I can't be more help.

I'd be interested in hearing what it is about that you find disinteresting, Killer Cyborg. Is it the lack of detail (in which case, I could present you with the 3+ pages of "rushed" fluff I came up with to explain it ) , or is it simply the concept?

This post has been cut short, due to this being a shared computer, but I will be back to reply further tomorrow morning.

It's the concept itself.
If it works for you and your group, cool... but I think that the "normal" Rifts setting has enough plot ideas to keep anybody busy for decades; I don't really see the point in changing it that drastically.

More to the point, if the changes are that severe then it would take a lot of work and guesswork on my part to try to come up with anything more to add to it; it seems like you've put quite a bit of thought into things already.

Ok you asked people to poke holes into your setting . I have a couple questions .
Question the First .( ) - Tolkeen , FoM , CS are for all intents an pourposes gone . Nice touch if you ask me how FoM used the Tolkeen war to its own advantage ( stays within what some factions of the FoM would really do) back to my Question tho , What happened to the Xitixic ? as of Tolkeen conflict they had 5 hives an were expanding an were growing in numbers on a geometric rate .

Question the second . Vampires . The various vampires running around in N.A. at the time of tolkeen ARE now using tech.. What happened to them as well if I may .

Question the third ; Is the Pecos Empire now a real Empire or .. ?

Question the forth ; How in Demand is tech ?

Question the F I F ...; Who are now the powers that be on N.A continent ?
