high enough tec level would not be effected by nanobytes

Okay it says in the sourcebook that AIs like archie would not be controled by the machine but lower level robots like skelobots would. It reasons that a high enough level of tec would not be affected by the nano plague. For example a the extreme of Palladium tech the Dominator's tecnology should laugh off the nano plague like todays computer's would laugh off a virus from the 80s. What should that bar be though. It shouldn't have to be as high as a Dominator. I'm thinking that some of the regular phase world tec should be immune. If anything a Dominator should be able to reprogram the nanos

As a snap decision I'd say anything more advanced then what the Machine already has.

Why you ask?

It only makes sense (at least to me) that N.E.X.U.S. would not bother to engineer the nanites for assimilation of tech higher then their own. They are the only technological super power ...the thought of some other higher level technology coming into play is so far fetched it simple isn't worth dealing with until theres a valid reason.

Also, any tech that falls into the realm of "science" but is so alien as to be incomprehensible in design and function (Phase tech) would be immune to the plague as well.

Don't hold me to any of this, as I said it's just off the top of my head.

To kepe it simple YES, is pretty obvious. Phase world technology is for the most part too superior, plus they are familiar witht he use of nanotech as mass destruction weapon, so most Kreegor, Naruni, Kittani, Wolfen tech has their own good coutermeasur for or simply is too alien ro andvaced to be affected.
Mechanoids is both alien and advanced(if Archie FEAR them NEXUS won't be different...HUMANOID MUST DIE WE WANT THEIR KNEECAPS!!!) and they ar ein constant evolution, meaning their system get better each generation.
Space Warlocks need a note by themselves. They are spellcasters who build an empire and more important explore the space. They know how magic deadzone work. Adn probably know hwo tod eal wiht them(answer carry Lot of magic battery with you...or be ready for mass human sacrifice to get out of there)
Advanced cyborg like wolfen quatoria, Naruni Repo Men, or others are quite safe till they fall below 45%-20% MDC because at that point stop being advanced tech and become just scrap. Unless is made from non metallic and/or alien material.
Mechanoid as i said is completely alien structured, is not a normal metal at all and wont' be affected by nanotech in any case, and even so, if their shell break they have the lil problem of not ebing able to survive in earth like environment(it wa senver cleared what environment they do like). Note that mechanoid are masters not just of robotic but genetic too, so Splicers are adviced, they have absolutely no advantage over ol good space leg-breakers :)
