Jumping Distance

Unread post by LostOne »

I was curious if anyone has any jumping distance rules based on strength and/or speed?

I don't remember any real rules on this (at least not in the old main book, only browsed the RUE a couple times so definitely not memorized), but some things in various books list a jump distance (up/across) that is increased after a short run. But they don't really seem to take into account strength or speed, it's just a figure tossed out. Other things that should have a jump distance listed don't.

I think there needs to be some table (for my game I'd probably put it in a spreadsheet for easy number plugging) based on Speed + normal PS, speed + extraordinary PS, speed + supernatural PS, speed + robotic PS to figure this distance. It should also probably take into account the weight of the character in the case of heavier beings like full-conversion cyborgs.
