I concur. It's been a fun ride, but it's never taken me ten years to read a book before! (Keep in mind, I read War and Peace in a week! LOL)

I totally agree with that assessment Slappy! That is my feeling on it too.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

Slappy...what do you mean, phase world is one of your favorite settings? What about splicers? I swear, if you don't do a Splicers sourcebook, I'll throw myself from a bridge.

Hammer of the Forge Sourcebook
I'm sure they have enough to compile the first Hammer of the forge Novel by now, and Sourcebook to go along with it would definately be Awsome something like Machinations of Doom... As for Splicers there's plenty of Soucrce Material for that as well in Rifters... if you want it so bad pick them up.....

Some of that material in the Rifter was done by Slappy. I own them all. I just want him to write a sourcebook because his stuff is SOOOOO good.
As for the topic, I think that we have enough for a hammer of the forge novel and sourcebook. It would be great too.

They could create a book like the Machinations of Doom for the Hammer of the Forge. Now that would be very cool!

Don't worry guys and gals, Big Bob will be there to catch The Galactus Kid. After the completions and publications of TRIAX 2, Sovietski, and Scandinavia then The Kid will be up for grabs after that.

A bunch of words and numbers, and a few pictures as well.

Re: Hammer of the Forge
As amusing as Hammer was to read, I think the idea of a sourcebook would be problamatical at the least. Ignoring the tricky issues of copywrites that would have to be dealt with, much of the plot involves issues that....are not possible under canon, and would require massive rules changes, some of which would be rather....disruptive. Just my two cents worth.
The rules are not a bludgeon with which to hammer a character into a game. They are a guide to how a group of friends can get together to weave a collective story that entertains everyone involved. We forget that at our peril.
