attacks per melee for monsters

If the monster is allowed to take a Hand-to-Hand combat form, then yes, it gains more APR as it advances in HtH.

I do my monsters differently then that ..
Depending on how many party members I have I deal out the appro # of attacks for the monster directly to it . An then random die roll its lvl .. accordingly . It makes it far more real to me then to give the monster a limited amount of attacks per melee .. After all if a true monster was going to attack you I do not think you would have a chance to roll for initiative ... Jason , Micheal,Freddy , Pinhead , even Godzilla would flat out attack with out lettin you do anything about it .. unless they KNEW you KNEW they were chasing you ..
