Spy drones?
Just had this thought.
Wouldn't Splicers have made some kind of small bat or bird like flying spy drone? Give it stealth capability like a Skinjob, an advanced eye, maybe force field to help it survive enemy fire.

I like that...however, there are too many OCCs, so I'll need to adjust it for my game purposes. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/smile.gif)
I think what i may start doing is all these cool homebrew OCCs I find will each be unique to a specific Great House, unique to that house like the Pariah and Naga Dancers for House Shiva.

Too many O.C.C.'s?
You must hate Rifts then.![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I say the more the merrier. Each new character class just adds more flavor to the world.
I like your idea of limiting certain classes to certain Houses. I just didn't do that myself because I want players to be able to pick any character they want without having to create some bizarre and elaborate story to explain why these normally incompatible characters are all working together. It's like the Technojacker. Great character, but it's all but reduced to an NPC because it's defined as an outcast in the book.

Re: Spy drones?
I did come up with something similar, but it doesn't fly.
Eye Spy
The Eye Spy is the ultimate surveillance tool. It looks like an average sized snail with a human eye mounted on its back instead of a snail shell. The organism can be grown anywhere on the armor, but most people like to place it on their back. The eye is fully functional, and the pilot of the armor can see everything it does. The basic version only has normal vision, but it can receive any type of visual Bio-Enhancement. The real power of the Eye Spy becomes apparent when the pilot plucks it off his body. A special built-in Bio Comm continues to transmit the visual data back to the armor even when the two are separated. The pilot can even see through this eye when the two are 6 miles apart. The organism can be placed on any surface and can move about on its own with a Speed Factor of 6. The armor pilot controls its movements through the same Bio Comm link.
The Eye Spy is a part of the armor and can exist indefinitely while attached, but once it is removed, the snail-like creature can only live for one hour before it dies of starvation. Once the Eye Spy is removed, it cannot be put back. It can cling to the side of the armor, but it will still die after one hour. Fortunately, lost Eye Spies will regrow in the usual location on the armor after 3D8 hours.
M.D.C. of the Eye: 3 M.D.C. points, but the Eye Spy is a very small target and is -4 to hit on a “Called Shot” when still located on the armor. The same penalty still applies when the organism is operating on its own. However, it is relatively easy to hit if targeted with an area effect weapon (no penalty).
Bonus: +1 on initiative, +1 to parry and dodge, plus an Eye Spy located on the back of the armor makes it impossible for the armor to be attacked from behind.
Bio-E Cost: 50 points per Eye Spy.
Prerequisite: None

Nice new biotech! I think it'll be very usefull in the campaigns. Hopefully this will end up in your new source book!

What I'm interested in seeing Slappy get printed is quite a lot more potent than spy drones

Actually, I love Rifts, but it's a totally different setting. It's easy to explain how all these classes came together into a group in Rifts.
However, it's not so easy to explain that instead of focusing on necessary units that the Splicers are going to make 40-50 different units each with its own specialization and each using a customized Host Armor or Living Armor base style. It makes more sense for each house to have the standard classes from the book and then have developed one or two unique classes to their house. At least to me.

So far I've had no problem integrating a Technojacker into the party. The group is a scout party, so they spend a lot of time outside the base. The Technojacker goes with them, and when back at the Great House he is trusted enough (he's worked with the house for years) that as long as he leaves his metal outside he has as much free range of the house as any Roughneck.

I would assume the Abomination War Mount. It's up here on the boards and a personal favorite of mine as well.

I disagree again. That's how I've come up with so many O.C.C.'s. I just looked at the military specializations that already exist but where absent from the book (artillery support, EOD, militia, aerial surveillance) and added in some uniquely Splicer roles that needed to be filled:
Deliveryman - to establish long distance communication
Harvester - to collect raw genetic materials for the Gene Pools
Swarm Lord - just because it's damn cool

No, this project hasn't seen the boards and absolutely blows away everything else I've seen Slappy do in terms of creativity and versatility.

Oh that one. ![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Yeah that one's pretty good too.
I put it along the same lines as the Swarm Lord. It's like nothing anyone has ever seen before.

Re: Spy drones?
That is the way to do it Slappy. I'm happy you have been filling in those gaps! I hope if you see anymore you'll fill it in with your creations!
