My Friend Erick ...

Yesterday Erick Wujcik finally finished his battle with cancer. From all accounts the end was peaceful and without pain. As I write this I can't hardly believe it. We all knew that this is where this horrid event would end but he fought so hard somehow I was sure he would beat it. I know some of you believe in the life after this place, if you do please say a prayer for Erick to whatever being you think may be out there, that he is in a happy, safe place now, he deserves that.

Erick wherever you are, thank you for being my friend, I will never ever forget you, your smile and the friendship you shared.

I was fortunate enough to play in two of his games at the last Open House, and it saddens me that I will not be able to again. However, I will always be glad that I had a chance to meet him in person.

Just a thought, but if you have the time and money, please track down a Relay for Life event in your area and buy a luminary (or two, or three) in memory of Erick.
