For Starving, Dehydratation and Diseases there are some good references in Dinosaur Swamp and Adventures in Dinosaur Swamp.

[quote="twhaley"]I was wondering how other GMs handled the following special damage situations:

Burns: inital damage, if magical healing applied then no scaring, if mundain treatment scaring and roll on the side effects table.
Deafness: probibly -3 to perception and can't notice 'noises', in addition to Tep.Mage's sugejetions; but sonic weapons that damage have full efectiveness, the effects sonic stunners might be negated by deafness (gm call)
Dehydration:dizyness fainting death, semtions are cured by rehydration but recives a headache when rehydrated (see minor curse spell)
Disease and Plagues:tired, cut all combat bonuses to 0 if suffering from a seirus illness, if fighting a loosing battle with it, no bonuses and -5 to combat and -20% to skills
Falling: falling is fine even plshurable to some ppl, but Tem.mage has the effects from suddenly stopping corect.
Fever: headache puking, etc.. see minior curse spell for effects
Frostbite: effeects are founf in PF Northern wilderness and Rifts canada
Heart attacks and Strokes: a DeathBlow in NSS causes a Heart attack,
Heat Stroke: heat stroke: same as dehydration
Malnourishment/ Starvation: tired and not thinking well, -3 combat, -10% skills
Sleep Deprivation: tired and not thinking well, -3 combat, -10% skills, random temp insanity
Suffocation: apoxia.... feelin good, goof, tired, fainting, death. recovery from close encounter with:, tired, -10% skills, no combat bonuses, masive headache for 3 hours (double minor cures headache), then a headache (minor curse)
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

Apparently, several of these conditions are addressed for the first time in Adventures in Dinosaur Swamp. I don't have the book, so I can't say. It's interesting that dehydration and starvation are not already covered as they are Class features for Priests and Monks in Palladium Fantasy. However, I can't find anywhere where it says what the average person can endure.
