Or I can "Grab Soft Parts", preventing any spellcasting at all. I imagine on a 30 ft long dragon there are many soft parts within easy reach.

I would imagine just the opposite, that something with thousands of MDC doesn't have any soft parts,

A quickflex alien (rifts) trained as a Thai Kickboxer (n&s) who joins a military unit, who's ship folded into Rifts' atmosphere and meraculously survived a crash landing, that trains him as a Valkyrie pilot. He prefers to use the SAP with five bits even though it is slower in the atmosphere it gives immense firepower. So that is what ever the quickflex gets (not looking it up) plus 11 attacks at 15th level plus valkyrie training for a total number of attacks equal to... well too much and doing too much with the SAP firing the large cannon with the bits its freaking rediculous not to mention if the GM allow the special ability of TK which allows the use of all attacks at once so not A,B,C cycle ad nasium, but AAAAAAAAAAA+,B,C,B,C etc.

Hows that?

Sure, so are lots of bad ideas. I'm of the opinion that most of the World Books that don't involve or interact with North America are pointless.

RIFTS china is a book full of great ideas, gaming material and an interesting setting that can easily hold a campaign in and of itself, some of Erik Wujiks finest work (though nothing beats trans-dimentional TMNT).

You are allowed your opinion, and I can just say that I disagree with your opinion.

The China books are interesting, but I think they would have been better served in another game setting than Rifts, and the same goes for most of the World Books that detail areas characters have almost no chance of visiting. With many of them, you either end up playing only in that exclusive region, cutting yourself off from all of the core books, you have some character improbably displaced from their home region, or you have your characters turn into globe-trotters, when international travel is supposed to be so difficult in Rifts.

Thanks for allowing me my opinion though.

Or that our thoughts on what makes something "cool" are quite different. I think that's probably what it is.

I don't see what the problem is. With a world riddled with dimensional tears in space and time, do you really find it so hard to believe there might be a handful of people stranded on the wrong continent? That's what character history is for, to help explain how that Anti-Monster ended up in Tolkeen, or the Machine Person ended up in Japan for the start of the game.

Also, I don't really see why international travel should be so difficult when there are supersonic nuclear powered vehicles. It's extremely unlikely you'll run into any supernatural threats at 10,000-30,000ft altitude, and if you run into enemy aircraft, just hope they're friendly on the radio or that you're the better dogfighter.

The biggest problem with international travel in Rifts Earth is providing a reason to travel to the location in the first place. Groups don't just pick up and say "Let's go to Russia." Chances are they have never even heard of Russia. However if they meet up with a dying stranded stranger who tells them of a strange land named Russia that he believes to be across the ocean at upper latitudes, and begs them with his dying breath to deliver this canister to Warlord Whatever, then they have a good start.

My vote goes for: Rahu-Man Demon-Queller with O-Ken Wa, Amaki Stone Man Mega Juicer (This is obnoxious, you get so much MDC your PC will easily be able to survive ground zero attacks from orbital satellite weapons), Amaki Stone Man Mind Melter Born in Psyscape, Asgardian Dwarf Combat Technowizard (As ashamed as I am, I actually allow someone to play this horror, fortunately, he is still first level), True Atlantean Battle Magus (Why no one has even bothered to post this one surprises the living daylights out of me, this is just god awful, it eliminates every single weakness the class has and completely optimizes the characters spell selections without blinking an eye)

Demi-God with the Psionic Power, Chi Gung Seng Ren (super Psionics with limitless ISP).

Auto-G Gunmaster who has taken the genetic code of a Malvoren (Malvoren and Gunmasters are the two best fighters with Guns - combining them has to be fun).

Here are three Characters I actually played in prior campaigns. One got this way purely by accident, one joined a high level campaign and needed something to keep up, the third was at the suggestion of my GM.

1) Astral Lord that became a Sword Bearer and eventually lost that to become a full Witch.

2) Lanataur Hunter Invincible Guardsman

3) Chiang-kui Monster Tattoo Man

Pardon my spellings if got any of them wrong.

Sigh, I actually miss that first character, he was actually in a Nightbane Campaign that eventually got himself rifted to Dinosaur Swamp.

This is why all Fennodi are pacifists. They'd break the game otherwise. :p

They are not pacifists, they prefer non-violence. There is an extremely practical difference.

New west and D-Bees of North America.

Basically they are a race of mostly non violent cowboys with some interesting innate powers, including a natural fast regenerating force field, innate prowl ability, the ability to enter a "spirit walk" and innate psionics. very cool race.
