Ughh, what a long weekend

Unread post by Kevin »

Ughh, what a long weekend, after a long week.

Picked up Robotech flyers, display prints and materials on Friday and
worked through the weekend from morning till near midnight Saturday and Sunday to get everything ready for Gen Con.

Alex, Kathy and I laid out and stocked our seven rolling display shelves (that’s 48 shelves in all). I designed our two display towers, gathered specialty products (toys, out of print books, artwork, prints, etc.), and took care of a host of related odds and ends. People have no idea the amount of work that goes into getting ready for a big convention like Gen Con. Whew. Days and days of prep and work.

That’s in addition to writing bills, various correspondences, telephone calls, business issues, coordinating artwork and approvals for Macross, editing the writing on Macross, and other stuff that also had to be taken care of. Nor does it take into account the order processing of the Rifts® Anthology Book and Robotech® hardcovers and other books all week. Man, oh man, it’s been gut busting busy for EVERYONE at Palladium Books.

Busy, but very exciting and worthwhile.

We hope to see a lot of Palladium fans at Gen Con in just . . . four days!

Too tired to think. I'm going to wrap up here and get home.

Sincerely,
Kevin Siembieda
