Just saw the direct=to-DVD CGI anime 'Vexile'...without giving too much away: concern about rampant bio-robotics technology leads the world to impose a moratorium on the technology...Japan, being the world leader in the field, refuses, seeing it as an attempt to hamstring its economy, and withdraws from contact with the rest of the world, hiding behind a powerful electronic cloak that cuts off all contact with the outside world..>Ten years later events begin that lead to a U.S. special forces to infiltrate and find out what REALLY is going on...
...Spoilers...
Spoiler:
A devastated Japan...a rampant corporation...a population transformed by a nanovirus into androids...and a mad man bent on taking control of the world...
Sound like a possible Splicers world? Europe and America desperately arming with bioweaponry against an out of control Japan?
You bet!

Yeah I have the DVD for this. I am going to possibly get the Blue-Ray release as well.

Comment: Lazlo and its supporters talk of Dbee rights. Can you even comprehend the plight of the untold billions of humans evicted from thier homes since their coming? What of their rights?
Just started watching it online. The action is good and the overall premise is pretty good. Really good scene where a guy cuts off his own leg to escape and pretty good PA action. The CGI I personally don't like that much. It to obviously cgi without being as detailed as final fantasy. As a caveat I prefer tradtional looking anime like Wicked City or NInja Scroll. I'll edit this when I'm done watching good pick taalisman
paul oakenfold does the music that was surping obviousy it was excellent due to him

I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

Stand alone...Unlike 'Appleseed', which is open-ended, Vexile pretty much wraps up the whole story in one episode...
