Golden City of Baalgor
OK, Baalgor wastelands tells me to see further in the book, under adventures, for info on the golden city of baalgor, however there is no such adventure in the book... Am I missing something, or does the book lie to me... Please help. And if so, where can I find this adventure?

Go for it. But let me take a look when you're done!
This world is far too small not to want to see it all, but life is far too short to allow that to happen. - Falcon, Ranger (My primary hero in PFRPG setting)
"Unhand me you slobbering son of an Orcish whore!" - Ariana Moonstone, Palladin (Another primary character of mine.)
"Bastard!" War cry of Strut, Barbarian Mercenary. (That's for you James!)

I wonder if we could get KS to release what was cut from the book.

yeah, maybe as a PDF or something like that on the Cutting Room Floor. i'd love to take a look at that city too, hell i'd love to see a whole thing done about the Elf-Dwarf War.

Yes, there are many things that should be on the Cutting Room Floor because... they got cut.
The Golden City of Balgor, Space Warlock Spells for the Three Galaxies, and quite a few other things.
Alas, we'll never see them there or likely anywhere else...

Eyes without life, maggot-ridden corpses, mountains of skulls... these are a few of my favourite things.
I am the first angel, loved once above all others...
Light a man a fire, and he's warm for a day; light a man on fire, and he's warm for the rest of his life.
Turning the other cheek just gets you slapped harder.

what page are you referencing the quote?
and for the record, the Golden City was destroyed during (at the end of) the Elf/Dwarf War. As was the lush jungle paradise that Baalgor once was. (page 14 of Baalgor Wastelands)
The spot where it once used to sit is now the sandy desert and IIRC, it was completly wiped from the earth with nothing left, not even ruins to explore.
We may be through with the past, but the past is not through with us.

Yeah, i see it...it contradictis itself which is why it really was cut (IMHO)- I mean you cant have a section in the book on a place that was totally wiped from the face of Palladium that nothing exists other that this "Spiritual City".
But it is still fun tho think about what the city was like so long ago, before the war.....

Re: Golden City of Baalgor
From what I recall it was supposed to have been an adventure that takes the players back in time when Baalgor still stood other than that no other info in the book about it. I would love to see it though I think it would be really cool to have a player party go back and experience what that city really was like.

I actually covered that and posted it here. I had to do a search for it, so ignore all the highlights.
EDIT: Also I'm gonna fix the link so it goes back to my post, and not the first one I found from that thread.

Re: Golden City of Baalgor
Before Balgor came out I was excited to read the back of IATEOW when it said "includes info on the balgor wastelands and more" (or something like that)...
Only to find out that there is one sentence about Balgor and just that the COCEP was what destroyed the city. More quality than quantity but hey they did the book in the end.
Btw, if your in Troker and you go to the arena, take a look on King Kai's chair for some graffitti (see below)
