Actually, that sounds like a really neat idea. It might occasionally be problematic (hair obscuring the camera), but it sounds like it would work.

Very cool idea!
I try to convert and add new (recent) technology into my gadgets and gear for the books. A updated weapons compendium or maybe even a equipment one would be nice. For most equipment we can just use wilderness outfiter, science surplus, etc catalogs but it is hard to get a price tag for illegal and military grade items.
