KainKrael wrote:What penalties would you apply to someone that had W.P. Paired Weapons and was fighting with a pistol in his main hand, and knife in his off?
I'm inclined to give him the -2 on the pistol in his main hand, and no penalty for the knife since he has W.P. paired weapons. I think that would be the right way to do it,but would he still get two parries?
None, myself.

Comment: Lazlo and its supporters talk of Dbee rights. Can you even comprehend the plight of the untold billions of humans evicted from thier homes since their coming? What of their rights?

Most knives aren't really designed for that either
try and parry a knife with knife with out a crossblade and your most likely going to get your hand sliced. At least the pistol is going to be able to catch the blade with the sights and other stuff at the top
I'd just say no penalties
I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

I would go penalty free as well, if only for simplicity sakes.
I also agree that depending on the knife used parrying may not be an option (say a switchblade or pocket knife, etc).
I would also look into damage capacity on the pistol, as it wasnt made for such use, I would tally up 1/2 damage on the pistol as either it would eventually break or start jamming up taking that kinda abuse.

Considering you'd be working at very different ranges with the 2 weapons, I'd go with the standard R:UE penalty for paired weapons.
