SVT Soviet goodness!

Unread post by Lord_Dalgard »

Chello!

Just wanted to share because I know there are some of y'all who will appreciate this. An SVT-40 that I got off of gunbroker arrived today....1941 dated, Tula, NO IMPORT marks!!! All matching serial numbers, not arsenal-refurbished! The mag is the only part that doesn't match (and it looks like it was war-time production)!

Clean bore..my local gun dealer was impressed with how clean it is.

Happy Snoopy dance!!!!

Eh, maybe. they would have been kinda kewl, but full auto with a 10-rnd. mag...there was a problem with breakage when used on full auto.

I'm happy with what I got. No import stamp!!! :)

Those Germans are in for it now.

I'd rather have a reproduction of a old gun than an authentic version. I'd like to fire it with the knowledge that if I break it, I won't loose lots of $$$.
