Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and More Strangeness
All the properties owned by Mirage, meaning any obvious links to the TMNT licenced property, would have to be left out. That means about 90% of all the material, especially that in TMNT Guide To The Universe is cut and or rewritten. The rest, like adventures, NPCs, locations, ect. are still viable for reprint. Most adventures can be rewritten to be more generic/player character driven, but most of the sourcebook material will be an endeavour.
All of the original After The Bomb books only need a small amout of tweaking to fit into the new AtB2.
TMNT Guide to the Universe & the AtB section of Mutants In Orbit would ahve to be rewritten, but condensed into one book.
Transdimensional TMNT could basically remain, but all Mirage properties would have to be pulled.

I would gladly accept a more 'generic' reboot of the line, as long as they bring back the Terror Bears and....

Mad scientists rule! He's not evil, just a crazy genius who doesn't have the same morality as the mutant animals. In all but one of the published adventures that Feral was a part of, he was the means by with the villain achieved their goal.
In AtB, you could easily replace Wilbur with Feral in "A Journey To Boars Town". One thing I have done is to connect Feral with AtB is to put several clues in "Gun Bunnies & Zombies" to show that the gloon implants were copied from plans for the control collars Feral used on his creations.

I'm with Rali on that. Doc Feral is the essential (if not quintessential) good-scientist-gone-wrong; for him the ends justify the means, while he still maintains an alignment of Scrupulous.
(what's a good anology.....hmmmm)
Think Kenneth Branaugh in his version of Frankenstein, but without the flare-up of conscious near the end.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and More Strangeness
While AtB2 is a great update to the original (which grew out of the original TMT&OS), a little reciprocative updating would be nice. It would provide the foundation for AtB2, but still be capable of being played separately from 'continuity'. And it still allows for more mutant animals.
I wouldn't mind seeing the original adventures updated/rebooted to reflect this.

Don't know. there is main problem of the TMNT author having become incredibles Xxxx.bags , on wachosky proportions just to make it clear. They are so picky about their creation , even after whoring them for more than a decade, that won't let the license for less than huge amunt of money. Eastman and Laird are two......Ah sorry is just that I've a personal hatred for them(not ofr the TMNT) ignore me. When i'm in this mood ....

i thought peter laird sold his rights over to Eastman back in the 90's. Eastman used his money to buy a lamborghini and a porn star wife and Heavy Metal magazine.
i can understand the resentment, but why the hatred? TMNT started as a joke on the x-men, after all.

You got it wrong. Kevin and the TMNT creators had a great relationship. Palladium is the one that dropped the license due to gamers perceiving TMNT as being too kiddified.
We had our chance to show our support for TMNT rpg when Kevin decided to see how much interest there was in a new edition by guaging the preorders. Unfortunately, the preorders fell short.
As to them being picky, I believe Kevin mentioned he had a lot of creative license back then to expand on the TMNT universe (hence the nightmare bears and doc Feral).
