PF 2e is not the easiest game to throw non-gamers into. The biggest problem with higher level characters is spell-casters and I doubt your Rifter adventure would be best playtested by men-at-arms only. So "as is", your group is not YET useful to do a playtest.

I suggest introducing them to PF with 1st level characters in a non-playtest game. Make up some pregen characters and an easy to follow half-page cheat sheet that covers the rules. Then run them through a short adventure (4 hours max) and see if they enjoy the game. If they do, then run a couple more games so they get fluent with the rules and the setting so they can properly judge the quality of your Rifter submission.

Actually, the best way to playtest something is NOT to run it yourself. You know what you meant to write and when reading it over, authors often fill in the blanks in their own head. Another GM will only have what is written on the page. Thus, if something does not make sense AS WRITTEN then it will be found.

So if you do not want to wait until your group has some experience under their belt, then post a notice on the Palladium Fantasy forum and ask if any GMs would like to playtest your Rifter adventure with their group. I bet someone will say yes!

If you feel that you have to GM the playtest, then consider running it as a play-by-post on the Palladium forums or get an experienced group together with Fantasy Grounds or other Virtual Tabletop software.

Good luck!
