I just wish we could see a bigger picture. :(

---

In a Facebook conversation (yes, Facebook) I suggested that Apollo use some of the geography around my home for the background, and although I am not sure if he did or not... the background certainly looks a lot like Platte Clove here in the Catskills.

Even if just a coincidence, that's Platte Clove to me. :)

Seriously.....

I was JUST about to ask if that was Okamura who drew the Cover (as I didn't see any "Z" sign for Zeleznik at the bottom and since Apollo has a lot of metal in his drawings).

Guess that you answered my question for me. :ok:

I always pictured them as being a dull white or light gray in color, but seeing them in black really catches my interest. I so wish Mcfarlane toys could do a limited toys set with some of Rifts old key favorites like this cover, the Splugorth slaver barge, glitter boy, Psi-Stalker with a pack of dog boys and the list goes on, well maybe someday down the road this might happen.
I will be 125 living in Rio de Janeiro when the Great Cataclysm comes, I will not survive long but I will be cloned threw the Achilles project and my clones will be Achilles Neo-Humans that will start a new Jedi order in Psyscape. So You May Strike Me Down & I Will Become More Powerful Than You Can Possibly Imagine. Let the Clone Wars begin!

If McFarlane could craft a sexy Angel of Death in all her cybernetic glory, I'd be willing to forgive him some of his past sins in the Comic World :D

Thanks for the compliments all!

I did a brief look-up of the Catskills and mostly saw pics of skiing, huge waterfalls, and colourful autumn trees.
None of which really worked for the layout, so I tried to come up with something that I hoped captured the same feel of the area.
So, while I never heard of Platte Clove, woohoo!! Yay Platte Clove! :-D

I seriously doubt McFarlane and PB would EVER do anything together.

:D

It seriously looks like the lower portion of the mountain pass (Platte Clove is a mountain pass), which has many small waterfalls, huge boulders, and a creek running through it.

Example 1, Example 2, Example 3. Granted, none of those pictures show the part I am thinking of... I guess no one has been dumb enough to clamber down the slippery rocks and take a picture in the middle of the creek at that point in the Clove...

It'll be a great cover for your book Josh. I'm looking forward to seeing it in our hands.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

Nice or something that has not already been used.
Now the wait for the book.
I hate it when my mind wonders,
Because I have no idea what it will bring back with it.
