Palladium PDF titles on DriveThruRPG.com

Palladium offering PDF product through DriveThruRPG.com is one of the many projects we have been working on the past several months.

We would have announced it simultaneously with them – when the first products became available on DriveThruRPG.com, April 13, 2009 – but they didn’t let us know when they were going to launch until late Friday night. Wayne and the rest of the guys were gone for the Easter Weekend. When we got back on Monday . . . well, we are buried alive trying to finish up more new RPG books for April release! This is my first chance to talk about it (and I really should be finishing up the Dead Reign Sourcebook).

We are excited. The DriveThruRPG.com people are even more excited than we are! I hope it is a lucrative venture for us both, but more importantly, I hope gamers are excited and pleased about the new availability of these select Palladium RPGs and sourcebooks.

DriveThruRPG.com will offer two additional products every day for the next 30 Days! Palladium is launching with approximately 80 titles of popular, but out of print titles at affordable prices.

The initial selections will include 80 titles:
The “original” Rifts® RPG (out of print)
The “original” Rifts® Sourcebook One (out of print)
The Rifts® Index #1 & #2.
The Rifts® Game Shield & Adventure Book
The Rifts® Coalition Wars® (Seige on Tolkeen™) series.

The “original” Beyond the Supernatural™ 1st Ed.

A few additional titles will be added every month. There are currenly no plans to offer perennial sellers or new titles, but that may change depending on sales and fan demand.

Likewise, printed “book” versions of many of these titles remain in print and available in hard copy “book form” at stores and from Palladium Books (including: the Siege on Tolkeen series, many issues of The Rifter®, After the Bomb® RPG, RECON, and other titles).

To hobby shops and bookstores concerned PDF sales will take away from their own, Palladium is currently offering mostly out of print book titles and select other titles. One of our goals by doing PDF downloads is to make our role-playing games and sourcebooks available to a broader audience and actually increase the sale of books. So spread the word and enjoy.
